Promises, promises

Philip Coggan’s book about debt, [amazon_link id=”1846145104″ target=”_blank” ]Paper Promises: Money, Debt and the New World Order[/amazon_link], is officially published today. I’m reviewing it for The Independent, but am already enjoying the introduction. As a taster, consider this: “The massive debts accumulated over the past forty years can’t be paid in full, and they won’t be paid.” There are some truths it’s worth repeating over and over until our various politicians come to terms with them.
